Remember those in prison

Philemon – What can I learn from this book. It took me absolutely ages to find it! I had to resort to looking it up in the index for the page number in the end. In my defence, it’s a small book!

I guess Philemon teaches about fellowship, lifting each other up and acts as a reference for Onesimus! It also made me think about those in prison. In particular, those in prison for their faith like Paul was as he was writing Philemon and indeed a number of the epistles.

I need to pray for those in prison as it says in Hebrews 13:3:

Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering
