Jo Jo | 09/10/2022 JoJo and Peter continue to read from the Book of Psalms for Prayer as a family and this time they read together the whole of Psalm 11 because there are only seven verses after all!
In this Family Prayer Time, JoJo and Peter encourage us to read Psalm 11 out loud as a form of prayer, because it’s as relevant today as when it was written by King David all those years ago.
The Psalm reminds us of how God protects us, that God rules and God will deal with the wicked – Go on declare these truths as a family today and say with JoJo and Peter:
‘I trust in the Lord for protection’
Amen!

I must say over the years I have heard many long-winded King James English prayers that took the listeners around the world unnecessarily. Your prayers are short and say precisely the right thing in plain English; excellent job Peter!

God is good and there is no reason to be afraid.

King David wrestled with many of the same problems we do today, yet he put his trust in God. And so can we!
