Andy B takes a moment to look at the topic of “Exercise isn’t Everything – The Body is a Temple”.
He looks at what this means for us today and how we can best do all that God is asking of us, by exploring how we can pursue God best and become more like Him, day by day.
And then, in #GoDo, Steven & Nathan give us 3 challenges for the week ahead and share a couple of personal experiences to help us all to GoDo and get deeper with God:
- Go and take some time to read the book of Timothy. As Steven points out, it is short and sweet!
You’ll find it towards the end of the New Testament and it has some really timely and specific advice for people of all ages.
- Nathan recommends a really great book, written by a great author – J C Ryle – which helped him learn better how to put God first, as young man. The book is called “Thoughts For Young Men Paperback” and has been helpfully and lovingly modernised for us to enjoy - https://tinyurl.com/yx8lphgh
While it was written from J C Ryle’s heart - to Young Men - it contains great truths for all of us, no matter who we are, or our age.
- Steven encourages us to make sure we put our physical training and personal fitness needs to come second to our Spiritual training, which benefits us in this life and in the Heavenly life to come.
