We are here, we are here, we are here!

Have you ever watched the film Horton Hears a Hoo? It’s a Dr Zeus book, which was made into a film starring the voice talent of Jim Carrey – who played a happy elephant who discovered Hooville on a tiny speck, on a flower. And he heard what nobody else heard – the noise of the people of Hooville shouting “We are here, we are here, we are here!”

Well, that came to mind as I cast a glance over our recent and scheduled posts. Because there wasn’t an awful lot there!

Now, to be honest I’m not bothered by our lack of output as we’ve been working fairly hard, but averaging around 15 posts a week and then, essentially, zero is rather a noticeable difference! But that has been us doing other things that you don’t get to see, like the hedges in our garden, or covering quite a few Radio Shows for Konnect Radio. So let me let you in a little to the world of the BerryBunch of late. Making videos is just one part of who we are and what we do.

For example, did you know we are, among other things, Radio Presenters on a National Christian Radio Station, with our own show? It’s called Family Focus. And, actually, it’s more than a National Radio Station as you can easily listen to us from all around the world. In fact we have people creating shows from Los Angeles and other parts of the US, as well as from good old blighty (the UK) and listeners from all around the world!

Well, one of the presenters, who is also the CEO of the station – has been on a couple of weeks of paternity leave following the wonderful arrival of his super beautiful third child.

The team behind the Radio Station are simply super brilliant, and we all stood in for each other as needed – to cover the temporary loss of our Breakfast presenter, for 2 weeks.

And, as the BerryBunch, we had very little filming to do as our normal output had already come to it’s natural end of multiple season conclusions. So, we ended up doing our own Sunday afternoon show, 2 x weekday breakfast shows, two Saturday breakfast shows, one Saturday lunchtime show plus an evening show. All in all, our usual 2 hours of radio a week became 16 hours spread over 10 days!

So, how’s your last couple of weeks been? And do you have capacity to help others? Or you maxed out to the point you can’t help others?

The bible tells us that we should expect help from our brothers and sisters in Christ – when they ask for it. If they did, could you help them?

Well, if you look at your diary and know you won’t be able to help anybody that God might put your way from your own church family, perhaps I could suggest you to go ask God if there’s anything you’re doing, that someone else could be blessed by doing instead of you: it’s great to be needed. But it’s also a biblical command to help our church family when they ask.

Just a thought…

PS I published my second book – “Just a thought…” . If you’re missing Andy B 2 Minute Videos, why not buy the book, then you’ll have 47 of them to read at your leisure, and you’ll be supporting the BerryBunch Ministry at the same time.

PPS here’s our regular video schedule, although Marriage Matters is on a pause until the New Year (January 2023) when we’ve got a refreshed show for you already being worked on!

I bought your new book, Andy B, and am enjoying it immensely. Some of these I’ve already heard, but some not. It’s good to read them all again.

Amazing brother! Praise God for his work in you and your family ministry! Regarding your question, yes I have been extremely busy with work as we are now in high season, it’s so tiring that after 8 hours on a computer dealing with issues it’s difficult to read and catch up on blogging, but I’m not working today! So I’m catching up on everything! God bless
